Limberlost Links

The Limberlost Forest and Wildlife Reserve is a publicly accessible private forest reserve just East of Huntsville. The private forest contains many lakes and forest stands with hiking, biking, skiing and snowshoeing trails throughout that has been made available to the public at no charge. The highlight is obviously the Disc Golf Course located near the main visitor centre which winds around a wide open hill with a broad view over Solitaire Lake.

While only 10 holes, the relatively short length means that the average player can play a round consisting of both the short and long tees for a full 20 hole round. A number of the tees have different approach lines giving each round a different feel while still hitting all of the great vista locations. Limberlost is slightly off the beaten path but is well worth the visit, particularly if you combine it with a hike on one of the many amazing trails!

Gates open daily from 9am to 5pm, please ensure your round is complete before 5pm!
