The Algonquin Disc Golf course is located in Tom Thompson Park, situated on the shore of Forest Lake in the town colloquially known as the "South Riviera". It also happens to be on one of the most popular entrance points for back country canoe trips into Algonquin Provincial Park. This 18 hole course (20 typically during the annual Black Fly Fling tournament) offers a middle length course with a mix of open and forested holes, including "The Hanger", the courses signature hole. The Hanger is a relatively short over the water drive into a hill on the lake shore with danger of a roll away, but the excitement of a parked shot under the hanging basket. Wind is often toward shore and doesn't play as much of an issue as one would believe.
This is the 2021 Black Fly Fling specific tournament map and is generally only useful to players in that tournament for use in practice rounds. The tournament layout includes two extra holes, and modified tee positions. Be aware that the hole numbering will NOT coincide with the posted signage at the course.
This is the most up to date course map for normal recreational play.
